This Refund Policy explains the cancellation and refund process for flight tickets booked through VootFly. Because VootFly acts as an intermediary between you and the airline, refunds are subject to both the airline's fare rules and VootFly's administrative policies.

5 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be issued in the following circumstances:

If an airline cancels your flight, you are typically entitled to either a full refund or rebooking on the next available flight at no additional cost, per airline policy. VootFly will:

  • Notify you as soon as we are informed of the cancellation
  • Present all available options including rebooking and refund
  • Coordinate with the airline to process your preferred resolution
  • Waive our administrative fee for airline-initiated cancellations

We Strongly Recommend Comprehensive Travel Insurance

VootFly strongly recommends purchasing coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and travel delays. Many non-refundable ticket costs can be recovered through travel insurance in cases of medical emergencies, family bereavement, or severe weather. Our agents can recommend reputable providers at the time of booking — this is especially important for high-value business or first class tickets.

If a passenger is medically unable to travel, many airlines will consider fee waivers with a physician's letter on official letterhead. VootFly will submit such requests to the airline and advocate for the best possible outcome, though approval is at the airline's sole discretion.

If the US Department of State issues a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" advisory for your destination after ticket purchase, most airlines will provide fee waivers. VootFly will monitor applicable advisories and proactively notify affected customers.
